Catlle shelters from the cold wind on the side of a pump jack array Saturday afternoon in Midland County. Saturday is the third day that Midland and Odessa have experienced freezing temperatures rolling through the Permian Basin. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the region that goes into effect on February 14 at 12 a.m. and will last until February 15 at 6 a.m.. The freezing temperatures are expected to last into early next week according to the NWS with Monday seeing a high of 22 degrees.
