NORTH AMERICAN HOCKEY LEAGUE: Jackalopes’ Chase Thudium named South Division Star of the Week

After he supplied four goals and six assists to help the Odessa Jackalopes to a weekend series sweep of the Wichita Falls Wildcats, Chase Thudium was named North American Hockey League South Division Star of the Week.

Thudium, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound forward from Canada, leads the Jackalopes with 66 points (25-41) in 57 games. He also has a team-high five game-winning goals.

The Jackalopes are out of playoff contention as they sit fifth in the South Division standings with a 25-25-6 record (58 points). Odessa can close out its season on a winning note with two-game series against the Amarillo Bulls beginning at 7 p.m. Friday at the Ector County Coliseum.
