No one hurt in RV fire

No injuries were reported Friday as a kitchen fire charred and destroyed a small trailer in north Odessa occupied by two women and three children.
Firefighters with the West Odessa Volunteer Fire Department snuffed out the flames inside the trailer, but blankets, a flat screen TV and a plastic bag containing an undisclosed amount of money were all lost during the blaze that was reported at 2:12 p.m. at 3520 N. Moss Ave., West Odessa Volunteer Fire Dept. Capt. Sean Dixon said.
“We knocked down the fire in a few minutes,” Dixon said. “We just (took out) what we could. Dixon placed the total estimated loss at $10,000.
A chapter of the local Red Cross was called to help the occupants, Dixon said.
