Dec. 29 Odessa police arrested 34-year-old Nathan Richard Fox and charged him with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third-degree felony. Officers pulled over a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Fox, at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 29 in the 2400 block of East Eighth Street. Police searched the vehicle and found a Smith & Wesson SD pistol on the back seat. Investigation revealed Fox was a convicted felon. Fox, 4660 Applewood Drive, was released Dec. 30 from the Ector County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
