UTPB guard James McPherson was named the Lone Star Conference offensive player of the week for Feb. 13-19 on Monday.
McPherson averaged 25 points in a pair of wins over Angelo State and Texas A&M-Kingsville during that time.
The junior is the LSC leader in 3-point shooting at 43 percent and joins Daeshon Francis and Sammy Allen as Falcons who have won player of the week awards this season.
