April 8 Odessa police arrested 29-year-old Lyea Clemons and charged her with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), second-degree felony; and for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for false identification (fugitive from justice), a class A misdemeanor. Due to recent prostitution and narcotic activity in the area, officers were patrolling the Royal Inn, 2006 W. Second St., when they saw a woman in a dress and heels walk out of a motel room at 9 a.m. April 8. Police made contact with the woman, identified as Clemons, and investigation revealed she had a misdemeanor warrant. A female officer searched Clemons and found her to be in possession of about 6.10 grams of cocaine. Clemons, address unknown, was being held April 11 at the Ector County Detention Center on $26,500 bond.
