Jan. 22 Odessa police arrested 44-year-old Kodie Edmondson and charged her with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony. Officers responded at 11:15 a.m. Jan. 29 to Extra Space Storage, 5306 N. Grandview Ave., in reference to a disturbance. Police made contact with a 49-year-old man, his girlfriend, identified as Edmondson. Investigation revealed that after both subjects got into an argument, Edmondson struck her boyfriend with a 2-foot-long pipe on his left hip. Officers saw a laceration on the boyfriend’s left hip, between his back and abdomen. Edmondson, 3315 Godfrey St., Midland, was released Jan. 31 from the Ector County Detention Center on $25,0002 bond.
