Joshua Fornash

Jan. 27 Odessa police arrested 27-year-old Joshua Fornash and charged him with possession of a controlled substance (tetrahydrocannabinols) and tampering with physical evidence, both of which are third-degree felonies; possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), a class B misdemeanor; and for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Officers pulled over a tan 2005 Cadillac Escalade, driven by Fornash, in the 800 block of North JBS Parkway at 2 a.m. Jan. 27. Police made contact with Fornash and he told them he had just smoked a “whole bunch” of “hydro” marijuana prior to the stop. Officers searched the vehicle and found Fornash to be in possession of marijuana, tetrahydrocannabinols “marijuana wax” and a marijuana “dab” pipe. Dash cam footage revealed that Fornash had thrown marijuana wax out the rear passenger window. Fornash, 710 N. McKinney Ave., was released Jan. 27 from the Ector County Detention Center on $50,500 bond.
