March 27 Odessa police arrested 29-year-old Jennifer Rains and charged her with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a third-degree felony; and on four outstanding felony warrants on theft of copper, all of which are state jail felonies. Officers pulled over a blue Toyota in the 3500 block of Andrews Highway at 11:30 p.m. March 27. Investigation revealed that the front right passenger, identified as Rains, had four felony warrants. Police searched Rains and found her to be in possession of a digital scale, two needles and two bags of methamphetamine. Rains, 213 Barrow Drive, was being held March 29 at the Ector County Detention Center on $35,000 bond.
