INDICTMENTS: May 8-9, 2019

The following is a list of felony indictments by an Ector County grand jury on May 8-9, 2019. The list does not include those who have yet to be arrested.

 

ABANDON/ENDANGER CHILD

  • Ashley Jacobson, 34, was indicted on two counts of abandoning or endangering a child under circumstances that would place the child in imminent danger of bodily injury, both of which are second-degree felonies; and a charge of abandoning or endangering a child with criminal negligence, a state jail felony

 

ASSAULT

  • Elias Quiros Escovedo, 34, was indicted on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence), a second-degree felony; and prohibited substance or item in a correctional or civil commitment facility, a third-degree felony.
  • Regina Lynn Martinez, 30, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.
  • Tammara Lyn McClinton, 48, was indicted on a charge of assault of a family or household member with a previous conviction (family violence), a third-degree felony.
  • Jeremy Farley Jr., 17, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony; five counts of deadly conduct by discharging a firearm, all of which are third-degree felonies; and two counts of unauthorized use of a vehicle, both of which are state jail felonies.
  • Ryan Tamngig, 22, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.
  • Matthew Thomas Pickens, 28, was indicted on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and burglary of a habitation, both of which are second-degree felonies.
  • Haylee Marie Salido, 17, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence), a second-degree felony.

 

BURGLARY

  • Jeremy Ortiz, 27, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a building, a state jail felony.
  • Xavieus Sledge, 35, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a building, a state jail felony.
  • Nathaniel Paul Williams, 32, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony, a first-degree felony.

 

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

  • Francisco Lincoln, 45, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Eleazar Cerda Contreras, 30, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Corey Lee Duhon, 44, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Pedro Escobedo Reyes, 36, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Jose Luis Sanchez, 47, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Luis Miguel Renteria, 35, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Eddie Arnold Hernandez, 59, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Steven Patrick Stutts, 37, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.

 

EVADING ARREST

  • Rudy Onofre Montoya, 68, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a previous conviction, a state jail felony.
  • Ricardo Mendoza, 36, was indicted on charges of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Sergio Valenzuela Alvarez, 30, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
  • Justin Allen Jones, 26, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
  • Charlie Azmed Ruiz, 27, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.

 

FAILURE TO APPEAR

  • Joshua Gomez, 23, was indicted on two counts of bail jumping and failure to appear, both of which are third-degree felonies.
  • Julian A. Molinar, 20, was indicted on a charge of bail jumping and failure to appear, a third-degree felony.

 

FORGERY

  • Jonathan Ray Schmauch, 33, was indicted on a charge of forgery of an item issued by the government (instrument/money/securities), a third-degree felony.

 

INJURY TO CHILD/ELDERLY/DISABLED PERSON

  • Jason Lynn Deese, 42, was indicted on a charge of injury to a child, elderly or disabled person with intent to cause bodily injury, a third-degree felony.

 

MANUFACTURE/DELIVERY OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • Daniel L. Brown, 25, was indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a first-degree felony.
  • Sarah Porter, 46, was indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a first-degree felony.
  • Terrance Lamont Hamilton, 30, was indicted on two counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 400 grams, both of which are first-degree felonies.
  • Carlos Izaguirre, 51, was indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, 200 grams or more but less than 500 grams, a first-degree felony.

 

MURDER

  • Traci Lee Alaniz, 61, was indicted on a charge of murder, a first-degree felony.
  • Eusebio Luna Lerma, 37, was indicted on a charge of murder, a first-degree felony.

  • Mike Rodriguez, 20, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), five pounds or less but more than four ounces, a state jail felony.
  • Brandon Shane Wooten, 27, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), five pounds or less but more than four ounces, a state jail felony.
  • Ashlynn Nicole Newman, 27, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Jaime David Marquez, 31, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Christina Escanuelas Vidales, 40, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Cheryl Ann Vaden, 59, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.

  • Brandon Lee Juarez, 20, was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony; tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony; and evading arrest with a previous conviction and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, both of which are state jail felonies.
  • Michael Ray Gonzales, 31, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony.
  • Devan Wayne Vogel, 31, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony.
  • Weston Garrett Nock, 23, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony.

 

PROHIBITED SUBSTANCE/ITEM IN CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

  • Victor Enrique Rascon, 32, was indicted on charges of prohibited substance or item in a correctional or civil commitment facility, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.

 

SEXUAL ABUSE/ASSAULT OF CHILD

  • Reid Hebert, 27, was indicted on charges of sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony; and endangering a child with criminal negligence, a state jail felony.
  • Gregory Allen Strasser, 38, was indicted on a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony; and two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact, both of which are second-degree felonies.
  • PJ Russell Proctor, 32, was indicted on a charge of sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony.
  • Marshall Wayne Dillion Woolis, 23, was indicted on charges of sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony; and endangering a child with criminal negligence, a state jail felony.

 

TAMPER/FABRICATE PHYSICAL EVIDENCE

  • Jesse Wayne Clements, 28, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, a third-degree felony.
  • Cynthia Kay Calderon, 51, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony.
  • Frank Daniel Garcia, 51, was indicted on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Cecilio Ramirez Levario, 28, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony.
  • Jermaine James Wyatt, 38, was indicted on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair and evading arrest with a vehicle, both of which are third-degree felonies.
  • Samuel Lopez, 34, was indicted on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Melaney Gonzales Tavarez, 43, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony.
  • Rudy Sandoval, 32, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony.

 

THEFT

  • Brian Raul Rodriguez, 37, was indicted on a charge of credit card theft from an elderly person and two counts of bail jumping and failure to appear, all of which are third-degree felonies; and a charge of forgery, a state jail felony.
  • Kaylan Jordan Barreto, 22, was indicted on a charge of theft of a firearm, a state jail felony.
  • Christian Alberto Blanco, 23, was indicted on a charge of theft of a firearm, a state jail felony.
  • Alejandro Martinez, 35, was indicted on a charge of theft of a controlled substance, a third-degree felony.
  • Octavio Lopez III, 21, was indicted on a charge of theft, a state jail felony.
  • Cynthia Romero, 40, was indicted on a charge of theft, a state jail felony.

 

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

  • Zephanian Noel Batie, 20, was indicted on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony.

 

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARM

  • Ryan Dale Adkins, 40, was indicted on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third-degree felony.
  • Samuel Joseph Clayton, 29, was indicted on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon (enhanced), a second-degree felony.
