ALPINE Alpine’s boys and girls golf teams pulled away from the competition Monday to win District 1-3A titles and advance to the Region I-3A Tournament.
The Lady Bucks (442-447—889) won by 17 strokes over second-place Kermit (435-471—906), which also advances to the regional tournament.
Alpine’s Morgan Molsbee (84-82—166) also won the individual title by 19 strokes.
The Fightin’ Bucks (352-338—690) lengthened their lead by 50 strokes at the Alpine Country Club over second-place Kermit (375-388—763).
Alpine’s Tyler Allbright (80-79—159) won the boys individual title by six strokes over teammate Roarke Zimmer.
