Future homeowner Jo Ann Torres cuts insulation while Rico Ramirez and Michael Marrero join others who are erecting the walls of a Habitat for Humanity house Wednesday morning in the 300 block of Lauderdale Avenue. The house is the first to be constructed in Odessa in several years as the Midland Habitat for Humanity recently started accepting applications in Odessa for homes.
