Jan. 26 Odessa police arrested 35-year-old Guy Irvin Holt and charged him with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a third-degree felony. Officers pulled over a blue 2010 Chevrolet Impala in the 2900 block of East Highway 80 at 11:15 p.m. Jan. 26. The front passenger of the vehicle was identified as Holt. Police searched the vehicle and found Holt to be in possession of a bag of methamphetamine that weighed more than one gram. Holt, 943 Nimitz Drive, was being held Jan. 31 at the Ector County Detention Center on $15,000 bond.
