Matthew Stringer, left, presented an elector plague to Debi Hays, president of Ector County Republican Women, at the ECRW February meeting. She was honored to receive the plague on behalf of the club. At the State Capitol on Dec. 19, 2016 as a Presidential Elector Matt cast his official ballot to elect Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States, The pen is engraved M.S. (Matt Stringer) (TX11 (Congressional District 11) it is one of six that was used to sign the official voting certificates required federal law.
