GOOD NEWS: Forum

Local and area volunteers recently participated in the Alzheimer’s Forum in Washington, D.C. to urge U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz. U.S. Sen. John Cornyn and Rep. Mike Conaway to support a $414 million increase for federal Alzheimer’s research funding. It is only through adequate funding and a strong implementation of the national plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease that will meet its goal of preventing and effectively treating Alzheimer’s by 2025.
