Jay McHugh and Andrew Wyatt return to defend their title at the 55th annual Quarter Century Partnership that begins today at the Odessa County Club.

McHugh and Wyatt fired a 54-hole total of 195 (21-under par) to capture the Championship Flight a year ago.

Players will compete on both the Old Course and the Links Course during the three-day event, with the Championship Flight golfers set to tee off in the afternoon Thursday and Saturday, and during the morning wave on Friday.

McHugh and Wyatt, who used a final-round charge to emerge victorious, are attempting to become the fifth pair to win back-to-back crowns in a tournament that began in 1964 and is open to players at least 25-years old.

The Championship Flight golfers will not be the only competitors on the course as more than 200 others golfers will compete for bragging rights through 10 other flights.
