The American Heart Association’s annual Permian Basin Go Red for Women luncheon that raises funds for cardiovascular disease and stroke research, awareness and education is set for May 2 at the Odessa Country Club.
The event will include a silent auction, a heart-healthy lunch and more, an American Heart Association news release said. Individual tickets are $50 with corporate or group tables still available.
“The luncheon aims to empower women to take charge of their heart health and fight cardiovascular diseases, which claim more women’s lives than all forms of cancer combined,” the release said.
