ABILENE The Odessa High girls soccer team continued the strong start to its season with a solid defensive effort against Abilene Cooper.
The Lady Bronchos earned a 1-0 victory on Friday on a goal from Candace Mireles in the 54th minutes.
Mireles scored on a rebound after a shot from Zaida Lopez was saved.
OHS (8-1-3) held Cooper (6-5-0) without a shot on goal while recording 10 of its own in the win.
