WOLFFORTH The Odessa High girls soccer team couldn’t get enough offense in its first game of the season, losing to Abilene High 3-1 in each team’s first game in the Frenship Cup Thursday.
Lady Bronchos’ senior midfielder Yverika Gonzales scored the team’s lone goal on an assist from Ashley Venegas.
Brittney Gonzales played the entire game in net for Odessa High, collecting three saves.
Odessa High returns to action today at 2 p.m. against El Paso High.
