April 8 Odessa police arrested 30-year-old Gerald Chris Parker for an outstanding felony warrant for credit card abuse, a state jai felony. Officers pulled over a black Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Parker, in the area of University Boulevard and Maple Avenue at noon April 8. Police made contact with Parker, and investigation revealed he had a felony warrant out of Wichita County for credit card abuse. Parker, 3939 Tanglewood Lane, was released April 9 from the Ector County Detention Center on $14,000 bond.
