March 20 Odessa police charged 26-year-old Fabian Joel Luna with unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony, on March 20. Officers responded on Feb. 20 to the 2800 block of East 11th Street in reference to a stolen black 2007 Mercedes S550. The complainant told them that the vehicle had been stolen from the Park Ridge Apartments. Through the course of the investigation the suspect was identified as Luna. Detectives contacted Luna, who was already in custody at the Ector County Detention Center on unrelated charges, and he admitted to stealing the vehicle. Luna, 3708 Travis Ave., was being held March 23 at the Ector County Detention Center on $72,500 bond.
