ECTOR COUNTY FELONY INDICTMENTS: Feb. 10 2017

The following is a list of felony indictments by an Ector County grand jury on Jan. 31, 2017. The list does not include those who have yet to be arrested.
ABANDONING/ENDANGERING CHILD

  • Evelyn Edith Parra, 32, was indicted on three counts of abandoning and endangering a child with criminal negligence, all of which are state jail felonies.
  • Kassandra Renne Loya, 23, was indicted on a charge of endangering a child with criminal negligence, a state jail felony.
  • Ashley Lea Leon, 28, was indicted on four counts of endangering a child with criminal negligence, all of which are state jail felonies.

ASSAULT

  • Pilar Medrano-Ramos, 48, was indicted on a charge of assault of a public servant, a third-degree felony.
  • Bobby Esparza, 46, was indicted on a charge of assault of a family or household member by impeding breath or circulation, a third-degree felony.
  • Roy Dale Morris, 35, was indicted on a charge of assault of a family or household member by impeding breath or circulation, a third-degree felony.
  • David Blayne Salmons, 19, was indicted on a charge of assault of a family or household member by impeding breath or circulation (family violence), a third-degree felony.
  • Quintin Tyrone Owens, 37, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault of a date, family or household member causing serious bodily injury, a first-degree felony.
  • Jacob Segovia Montoya, 37, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault of a date, family or household member with a weapon, a first-degree felony.
  • Olivia French, 31, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence), a second-degree felony.
  • Nora Nino Juarez, 35, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing bodily injury, a second-degree felony.

BURGLARY

  • Cruz Esteban Sanchez, 39, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a building, a state jail felony.
  • Jordan Surber, 18, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony.
  • Kenny Matthew Carroll, 35, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony.
  • Sarahi Angelica Esquivel, 19, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony.

CLAIM LOTTERY BY FRAUD

  • Tamra Valle, 43, was indicted on a charge of claiming lottery by fraud, a third-degree felony; and theft of property, $2,500 or more but less than $30,000, a state jail felony.
  • Matthew D. Castaneda, 24, was indicted on a charge of claiming lottery by fraud, a third-degree felony.
  • David Allen Lumpkin, 31, was indicted on a charge of claiming lottery by fraud, a third-degree felony.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE

  • Amanda Patricia Quiroz, 33, was indicted on a charge of credit card abuse, a state jail felony.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

  • Miriam Lisette Tarango, 35, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, a third-degree felony.
  • Gilberto Contreras Lopez, 43, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Salvador Quiroz, 46, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Jose Juan Hernandez, 40, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.

EVADING ARREST

  • Alonso Sanchez Hernandez, 22, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
  • Christian Gonzalez Fuentes, 18, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
  • Alfredo Garcia Jr., 18, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
  • Bryan Ricardo Huerta, 24, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
  • Kermit Cecil Watson, 25, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
  • Roy Casey Martinez, 30, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a previous conviction, a state jail felony.

FAILURE TO RENDER AID

  • Ramon Valenzuela Quiroz, 68, was indicted on a charge of failure to stop and render aid causing bodily injury, a state jail felony.
  • Alex Heriberto Hernandez, 21, was indicted on a charge of failure to stop and render aid causing bodily injury, a third-degree felony.

FORGERY

  • Dominic Eugene Miller, 30, was indicted on a charge of forgery of a financial instrument, a state jail felony.

FRAUD

  • Gina Bustamante, 28, was indicted on a charge of fraud, a third-degree felony.

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

  • Amanda Christine Blair, 26, was indicted on a charge of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, five items or more but less than 10 items, a third-degree felony.
  • Mason Reed Purifoy, 26, was indicted on a charge of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, 10 items or more but less than 50 items, a second-degree felony.

ILLEGAL DUMPING

  • Juan Antonio Tamez-Diaz, 34, was indicted on a charge of illegal dumping, a state jail felony.

INJURY TO CHILD/ELDERLY/DISABLED PERSON

  • Lysandra Nichole Venecia, 22, was indicted on a charge of injury to a child, elderly or disabled person with intent to cause bodily injury, a third-degree felony.
  • William Hernandez, 53, was indicted on two counts of injury to a child, elderly or disabled person with intent to cause bodily injury (family violence), both of which are third-degree felonies.
  • Andrea Elaine Hernandez, 33, was indicted on three counts of injury to a child, elderly or disabled person with intent to cause bodily injury (family violence), all of which are third-degree felonies.
  • Cory Addison Sanchez, 27, was indicted on a charge of injury to a child, elderly or disabled person with intent to cause serious bodily or mental injury, a first-degree felony.

MANUFACTURE/DELIVERY OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • David Jimmy Lara, 18, was indicted on charges of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a first-degree felony; tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), a state jail felony.

  • Becky Jo Celey, 35, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Manuela Leos Hernandez, 37, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Nathalie Zacniewski, 46, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Jose Alaniz, 41, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.

  • Brandon Lee Cain, 33, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone, a third-degree felony.

ROBBERY

  • Anthony Xavier Lopez, 18, was indicted on charges of robbery, a second-degree felony; and evading arrest with a vehicle and possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), both of which are state jail felonies.
  • Joseph Henry Hutcherson, 25, was indicted on a charge of robbery, a second-degree felony.
  • Tyler Nicole Franco, 19, was indicted on a charge of robbery, a second-degree felony.
  • Eric Dax Baker, 26, was indicted on a charge of robbery, a second-degree felony.
  • Miranda Justine Gomez-Williams, 19, was indicted on a charge of aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony.
  • Antonio Larez Perez Jr., 43, was indicted on a charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, a first-degree felony.
  • Alvaro Antonio Mata, 31, was indicted on a charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, a first-degree felony.

SEX OFFENDER DUTY TO REGISTER

  • Sergio Azzef Estrada, 34, was indicted on a charge of failure to comply with sex offender duty to register annually for life, a first-degree felony.

TAMPER/FABRICATE PHYSICAL EVIDENCE

  • Jesus Jose Rodriguez, 27, was indicted on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair and possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), one gram or more but less than four grams, both of which are third-degree felonies.

THEFT

  • Eric Medellin Castillo, 41, was indicted on a charge of theft, a state jail felony.
  • Lawrence Leroy Holley Jr., 43, was indicted on a charge of theft, less than $2,500, with two or more previous theft convictions, a state jail felony.
  • Luz Maria Chavez Vela, 56, was indicted on a charge of theft of property, less than $2,500, with two or more previous theft convictions, a state jail felony.
  • Michelle Maria Chavarria Carrasco, 44, was indicted on a charge of theft of property, less than $2,500, with two or more previous convictions, a state jail felony.
  • Brandon Lee Juarez, 17, was indicted on a charge of theft of property, $30,000 or more but less than $150,000, a third-degree felony.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

  • Brandon Lewis Eubank, 31, was indicted on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARM

  • Joshua Raymond Gilder, 33, was indicted on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third-degree felony.

VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER

  • Jerry Terry Cherry, 48, was indicted on a charge of violation of a protective order by committing assault, a third-degree felony.
