March 25 Odessa police arrested 31-year-old David Luna-Meza and charged him with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), a state jail felony; prohibited substance in a correctional facility, a third-degree felony; and public intoxication, a class C misdemeanor. Officers pulled over a maroon Chevrolet Colorado in the 300 block of West May Street at 2:45 a.m. March 25. The front passenger of the vehicle was identified as Luna-Meza. Police found Luna-Meza to be in possession of cocaine. Luna-Meza was placed into custody and transported to the Ector County Detention Center. While at the jail, Luna-Meza was found to be in possession of another bag of cocaine. Luna-Meza, 836 Lindberg St., was being held March 28 at the Ector County Detention Center on $22,500 bond.
