March 9 Odessa police arrested 30-year-old Dario Torres and charged him with tampering with government records, a third-degree felony. Police also arrested 33-year-old Mauricio Torres and charged him with tampering with government records, a third-degree felony. Officers responded at 10:15 a.m. March 9 to First Physicians, 3043 E. University Blvd., in reference to criminal deception. Police made contact with two suspects, identified as Dario Torres and Mauricio Torres. First Physicians personnel told officers that both men attempted to receive physical examinations by presenting fake identification cards. Investigation revealed that both Texas identification cards belonged to other people. Both men admitted that the cards were fictitious. Dario Torres, 1508 Ninth Street, Rock Springs, Wyo., was being held March 21 at the Ector County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.
