The Life Center has scheduled an Odessa fundraiser lunch at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at MCM Grandé Hotel and FUNDome, 6201 E. Business 20.
Guest speaker will be Kirk Walden, author of “The Wall,” a book that continues to energize and motivate the pro-life community with a surprising perspective.

The Humane Society of Odessa has scheduled a fundraiser from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at True Texas BBQ in H-E-B, 2501 W. University Blvd.
Proceeds from food sales and donations collected will be used to help shelter pets.
The 2017 Spring Fling Bunny Hop 5K, Fun Run and Easter Egg Hunt have been scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the UTPB Soccer Fields, 3839 TX-338 Loop.
Check-in and open registration starts at 8 a.m. Races being at 9 a.m. Community Easter egg hunt starts at 11 a.m.

The ninth annual Guardians of the Children Twin Cities fundraiser has been scheduled at 5 p.m. Saturday at Corky’s Bar & Grill, 6705 Andrews Highway.
There will be a jailhouse fundraiser, live and silent auctions, 50/50 raffle and brisket plates will be sold for $10.
All proceeds will go to the organization to help fight child abuse in the Permian Basin.
