MIDLAND The UTPB tennis teams picked up a pair of 9-0 sweeps over Sul Ross State in action at the Bush Tennis Center in Midland on Tuesday.
UTPB’s Raul Stevens dropped Ryan Ray 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 on the men’s side, while Fernanda Orona bested Annette Posada 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 in the women’s competition.
Both UTPB teams will return to the court April 7 when the Falcons host teams from the University of the Southwest in Midland.
