The Odessa College softball team opens WJCAC play today with a doubleheader against Frank Phillips College at home at the OC Softball Complex.
First pitch for the day’s first game is set for 1 p.m. The nightcap is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
Odessa College opened the season 14-9 in nonconference play. The Lady Wranglers had won 11 of their last 13 to close February, before dropping two to Tyler Junior College in OC’s nonconference finale March 3. The Lady Wranglers have been off since then, and they will look to bounce back today.
Frank Phillips College is 3-23 on the season.
