LAGUNA VISTA The UTPB men’s and women’s golf teams put together some of their best results since the program began play in the fall.
The Falcon men finished in fifth place out of nine teams, and the women came in fourth out of seven squads on Tuesday at the South Padre Intercollegiate.
Odessa College transfer Connor Bjugstadt led UTPB with a two-round total of 156 to finish 12th. Brielle Whitney came in tied for fifth place in the women’s event with a two-day score of 169.
Texas A&M International swept the men’s and women’s team titles.
