COLLEGE GOLF: Odessa College tied for fifth at NJCAA Championship

MELBOURNE, FLA. The Odessa College men’s golf team is tied for fifth place after 54 holes at the NJCAA Men’s Division I National Championships at Duran Golf Club.

The Wranglers are tied with Calhoun (Ala.) Community College at 1-under-par for the tournament.

Marcus Wochner had the low round of the tournament for the Wranglers Thursday, finishing with a 6-under-par 66 during Thursday’s third round.

Bryce Waters (70-72-71—213) is tied for eighth overall and currently leads the team in scoring.

Indian Hills (Iowa) Community College leads the tournament at 29-under-par with Central Alabama Community College one shot back.  New Mexico Junior College sits in third place at 24-under-par followed by Midland College at 22-under-par.

The tournament concludes Friday.
