The No. 4 Angelo State baseball team scored at least one run in each of the first four innings Friday en route to a 10-2 victory over UTPB in a nonconference game at Roden Field.
The Rams (12-2) broke away with a six-run second inning and the Falcons (6-7) never scored more than one run in a single frame.
Tyler Coolbaugh went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs for Angelo State, while UTPB’s Doug Clapperton had two hits and scored one run.
