March 23 Odessa police arrested 17-year-old Cody Arbuckle and charged him with unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony. Officers pulled over a white pickup, driven by Arbuckle, in the area of 52nd Street and Locust Avenue at 12:51 a.m. March 23. Police made contact with Arbuckle and investigation revealed that the vehicle had previously been reported stolen. The vehicle was returned to its owner and Arbuckle was charged and arrested accordingly. Arbuckle, 1515 Mesa St., was being held March 24 at the Ector County Detention Center on $15,000 bond.
