Jan. 6 Odessa police arrested 20-year-old Christopher Robles and charged him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a state jail felony. While patrolling at 6:11 p.m. Jan. 6 in the 3000 block of East Highway 80, officers saw a suspicious vehicle in the Ramada Inn parking lot. As soon as the driver of the Nissan Altima saw officers, he quickly parked and exited the vehicle. Investigation revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Midland. Officers immediately detained the driver of the vehicle, identified as Robles. Robles, 3218 Hill Ave., Midland, was being held Jan. 11 at the Ector County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
