A shelter in place Burleson Elementary School, 3900 N. Golder Ave., has just been lifted.
ECISD Public Information Officer Mike Adkins said the law enforcement was looking for a suspect in the neighborhood.
Adkins said the school scheduled fifth-grade graduation for 1:30 p.m. Thursday (May 24).
A shelter in place is a precaution ECISD takes with schools if there is a potentially dangerous situation somewhere nearby. All students and staff are brought inside the entrances are locked and monitored, but activities inside go on as usual, a news release said.
