March 29 Odessa police arrested 27-year-old Brian Green and charged him with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a state jail felony; and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), a class B misdemeanor. Officers pulled over a green 2007 GMC Sierra, driven by Green, in the 400 block of Patterson Avenue at 5:31 p.m. March 29. Police saw a yellow and black bag on the floorboard behind the driver’s seat. Further investigation revealed that the bag contained a methamphetamine pipe, several small baggies, a razor blade, a scale, two sacks of methamphetamine (about 6.5 grams) and marijuana. Green, 74 Tropicana Ave., was being held March 31 at the Ector County Detention Center on $8,000 bond.
