MIDLAND The Permian boys golf team held on Saturday to win the Tall City Invitational by two strokes.
Permian I (311-302—613) bested Midland Lee I (316-299—615), with Monahans I (313-305—618) third to round out the podium. Odessa High I finished in ninth place, 95 strokes back of Permian I.
Permian’s Will Adams (74-69—143) also took home the tournament’s medalist’s title, besting Midland Christian’s Bryce Waters by two strokes.
Greenwood’s Colby Karcher (74-72—146) finished in third, Monahans Joey Kirk (77-70—147) placed fourth and Permian Tyler Trotter (74-74—148) took fifth.
