MIDLAND The Permian boys golf team leads after 18 holes in the Tall City Invitational on Friday.
The Panthers shot a team score of 311 to open up a two-shot advantage over Monahans at Green Tree Country Club in the 16-team field.
Will Adams and Tyler Trotter paced Permian with rounds of 74 to sit in a tie for second place.
The Panther duo is one shot behind Odessa College signee Bryce Waters, who shot 73 for Midland Christian.
Odessa High resides in ninth place after the first round after shooting at team total of 369.
