Jan. 30 Odessa police arrested 55-year-old Belinda Diana Parum and charged her with theft of property with at least two previous convictions, a state jail felony; and criminal trespass, a class B misdemeanor. Officers responded at 2:33 p.m. Jan. 30 to Walmart, 2450 NW Loop 338, in reference to a theft. Police made contact with the suspect, identified as Parum, and investigation revealed that she hid about $43 worth of merchandise in her purse and exited the store without making any attempt to pay. Further investigation revealed that Parum had three previous theft convictions. Parum, 3306 Brazos Ave., was released Jan. 31 from the Ector County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.
