2019 Permian Basin Fair entertainers announced

The 44th annual Permian Basin Fair and Exposition will bring an assortment of entertainment and live music to the Ector County Coliseum.
The 10-day event is scheduled to run Aug. 30 through Sept. 8 and will showcase 28 musical acts representing a variety of genres.
Calamity Janes, Zak & Nem and Drew Moreland will perform opening day.
Calamity Janes is a multiple award-winning sister trio, who blend three-part harmonies, powerful vocals and southern grit to create their unique style of music, a Permian Basin Fair and Expo press release stated.
The fair’s lineup will also include Caleb Young, Tall City Band, The Trials, The Funksters, Jack Nelson, Black Valley, Texicano Folk Rock Punk Band and local musicians such as Dirty Glass of Midland.
Performances will bring southern rock, country, rhythm and blues, Tejano and more to the stage.
To close out the fair, Capital Limits, The Brice Daniels Band and JD and the Badlands will perform. In 2016, JD was nominated for 2015 Male Country Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year by the West Texas Talent Association, and he brought home the award for Entertainer of the Year, the release stated.
