A Teratophoneus fossilized skull is seen on display next to fossilized shellfish at the Big Bend National Park Fossil Discovery Exhibit. Teratophoneus is a cousin of the large species of tyrannosaur the T.Rex. Few fossils have been found outside this skull from Utah and teeth, limb, and skull bones from Big Bend. Teratophoneus means "monstrous murderer."
