WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Lady Wranglers suffer eighth loss of the season in Florida

FORT MYERS, FLA. Sariana Rodriguez scored a team-high 19 points to lead six players in double figures as Florida Southwestern State College defeated Odessa College, 85-61, in women’s basketball play Saturday.

Macarena Retamales and Natali Tondi each scored 13 points for Florida Southwestern (8-2), with Violette Skipworth finishing with 11 and Tyshonne Tollie and Tashun Bryson adding 10 each to the victory.

Lala Niankan led the Lady Wranglers (2-8) with a game-high 31 points.
