The Odessa College women’s basketball team will look for its second Western Junior College Athletic Conference win of the season when it hosts Midland College at 5:45 p.m. Thursday at the OC Sports Center.
The Lady Wranglers got their first conference win after defeating Western Texas College 66-48 on Jan. 6 in Snyder.
Midland College enters the rivalry matchup on a four-game winning streak, picking up their last victory over Western Texas College by an 83-67 score.
Odessa College (4-11 overall, 1-2 conference) has three players averaging 10 or more points per game, with Lala Niankan’s 17.8 points leading the way.
