NORTH AMERICAN HOCKEY LEAGUE: Jackalopes get started on extended homestand

The Odessa Jackalopes begin a two-month homestand with a pair of games against the Amarillo Wranglers at the Ector County Coliseum.

The first contest is set for a 7:15 p.m. start Friday, with the second matchup scheduled for the same time Saturday.

The Jackalopes (11-6-0-1, 23 points) sit atop the North American Hockey League’s South Division standings.

Amarillo (11-4-0-0, 22) is just behind and has three games in hand at this point of the season.

Odessa will play its next 12 games at home before heading out on its annual rodeo road trip in January.
