MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL: RockHounds erase 10-run deficit, complete extra inning comeback

Mickey McDonald delivered a pinch-hit RBI single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Midland RockHounds completed a stunning comeback in an 11-10 victory over the Amarillo Sod Poodles Sunday at Momentum Bank Ballpark.

Midland (34-32 overall) trailed 10-0 entering the bottom of the eighth inning before erasing that deficit and pulling even with Amarillo (28-37).

Jonah Bride went 3 for 5 and drove in two runs in the eighth while Collin Theroux and JJ Schwarz drove in three runs each.

The victory was enough to also win the series for the RockHounds.
