ABILENE Devin Dominguez threw for 129 yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn't enough Monday as the West Texas Roughnecks lost 57-34 to the Abilene Ruff Riders in a Lone Star Football League game at the Taylor County Expo Center.

The loss ended the Roughnecks' three-game winning streak and dropped West Texas from third to fifth place in the Lone Star Football League standings with one game remaining in the regular season. The top four teams in the LSFL standings advance to the playoffs.

West Texas (5-6) will have 11 days off before its final regular season game, a July 7 road contest against the Amarillo Venom. Kickoff is slated for 7:15 p.m.
