Permian and Odessa High athletics will face off today at two different venues, in two different sports.

The schools’ volleyball teams square off at 6 tonight at the Permian Fieldhouse in a crucial District 2-6A contest.

Permian (17-14 overall, 1-5 district) will look to defeat Odessa High (6-23, 0-6) for the second time this season.

The Panthers and Bronchos tennis teams also will face each other at 4:30 p.m. at the Ratliff Stadium Tennis Center.

Odessa High’s tennis team was shut out 19-0 by San Angelo Central on Monday. Permian played both San Angelo Central and Midland Lee, but neither score was reported.
