Wink’s Jordan Dewberry and Jonnah Smith were named to the Texas Sports Writers Association all-state volleyball team for Class 2A.
Dewberry, who finished with 281 kills and a team-high 56 total blocks as a junior, earned first-team honors as a middle blocker while Smith garnered honorable mention at middle blocker.
Smith, a junior, led her team with 309 kills, 236 digs and 56 service aces.
Wink finished 26-15 overall after reaching the regional quarterfinals this past season.
