AMARILLO Behind six home runs and 24 hits, the Odessa High Lady Bronchos (18-2-1 overall, 3-0 in District 2-6A play) routed the Amarillo Tascosa Lady Rebels (6-17, 0-3) 26-0 in five innings Tuesday night.
Odessa High scored 10 runs in the first inning and never looked back.
Eight Lady Bronchos tallied a multi-hit night. Alyssa Deanda finished 4 for 5 with a home run and three RBIs, while Christabelle Aguirre went 3 for 5 with a home run and five RBIs.
Hailey Prentice finished 3 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs. Kaylean Ayala went 3 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs.
Tascosa had just two hits. Pearl Marquez threw a two-hitter in three innings with one strikeout.
Odessa High plays at Wolfforth Frenship at 7 p.m. Friday.
