MIDLAND The Permian softball team downed Midland High 12-2 in six innings Saturday at the Audrey Gill Sports Complex.
The Lady Panthers (25-1 overall, 6-1 District 2-6A) had 15 hits in the game and didn’t commit an error. The Lady Bulldogs (18-10-2, 3-4) had six errors in the game.
Alexis Morales got the victory in the circle with Mariah Rey helping close the game out in relief. The Lady Panthers finished the game with eight extra-base hits.
