The Odessa High softball team will face Haslet Eaton in a one-game Class 6A regional semifinal playoff at noon Saturday at Hermleigh High School.
The Lady Bronchos (31-8), one of two District 2-6A representatives still alive in the playoffs, advanced through last week’s regional quarterfinals by sweeping district rival Midland Lee. District 5-6A runnerup Eaton (30-2) also knocked off a district rival last week, beating Denton Guyer in a one-game playoff.
Saturday’s winner advances to the Region I-6A championship against the winner of the series between District 2-6A champion Wolfforth Frenship and 5-6A winner Keller.
