HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Permian set for afternoon start

The Permian football teams will conduct its first spring football practice at 5:05 p.m. Monday on the grass practice fields behind McCanlies Field.
The Panthers will have 17 practice sessions, including their spring game, over the next month.
The Panthers’ spring game is scheduled for May 15 at Ratliff Stadium. The sub-varsity portion will start at 5 p.m. with the varsity to start at 6:30 p.m. In between, the middle school 7-on-7 championship games will be played.
